Garces Foundation Spanish Course (10 Weeks)

Build real-world Spanish skills while connecting with your community. The Garces Foundation Spanish Course is designed for adults looking to strengthen their foundational Spanish through a dynamic blend of direct instruction and meaningful conversation practice.

Over 10 weeks, you’ll participate in 10 engaging, 90-minute classes held in-person at the BOK Building (Room 205). Each session is thoughtfully structured to help you learn and immediately apply what you’ve practiced:

• 60 minutes of guided instruction focused on essential vocabulary, grammar, and everyday communication
• 30 minutes of structured language exchange with native Spanish speakers—our English learners—giving you authentic, real-time practice in a supportive environment

This course goes beyond traditional language learning by creating a shared space where both Spanish and English learners grow together.
